    An organization’s greatest asset is its employees, and having a highly motivated workforce is critical to organizational success. Before you can have a highly motivated workforce though, you need to have engaged employees!  So, how do you motivate  your high performers, your disengaged employees and those employees suffering from presenteeism?  In this program we will: Upon completion of this session, participants will be able to:

    ·         Identify common motivation myths and why they don't work 

    ·         Explain the importance of motivation to job performance and retention

    ·         Explain needs that drive motivation

    ·         Identify strategies for self-motivation and for creating an environment that motivates others

     

    Lauren Soderstrom, PHR, is an Organizational Development and Training Specialist for the Management Association of Illinois. Lauren delivers engaging energetic trainings on leadership and human resource topics. She enjoys consulting with members on organizational development initiatives and designing customized solutions.  She conducts needs assessments, team building initiatives and executive and managerial coaching. She also provides organizational guidance via the HR Hotline.

    Lauren came to the Association in 2007, with extensive experience in the real estate and legal industries. Lauren holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign.
